Our company’s strong financial position allows us to bond single projects over $20M. Our bonding program is provided by Westfield Insurance Company of Ohio.

Our Story
Emory Electric was established in 1978 by Wilburn Emory, Jr. After many years of working with area Electrical Contractors, he decided to form his own company. Junior found his niche in Residential and small Commercial construction work. During the early years, his son Tim kept the company books while attending college. In that time, Junior earned the reputation of being able to meet ambitious schedules while keeping the client’s budget intact. Upon Tim’s graduation in 1984, he joined the company full-time. With Tim’s leadership, the company decided to pursue larger projects focusing more on the Commercial and Industrial markets. Emory experienced tremendous growth during the late 80’s and early 90’s, and quickly became a regional force in the market. Though Junior passed away in 2012, the spirit of hard work instilled by our founder remains with us, and as a result we truly are an organization that continues to be “Committed to Excellence”.
