Our Latest Updates
Summer has passed and fall is in full swing. It has certainly been a busy year, but we are so blessed and thankful for all the work. As a wise person once said, “When work is slow you think it’s never going to pick back up, and when it’s busy, you think it’s never going to slow down.” And so, we choose thankfulness in every season. We do this especially now as we enter the holiday season remembering there is always something to be thankful for.
Back in late summer we held our Emory employee family picnic, and it was a great time! Many employees along with their families joined us at the new Brookstone Church property for a day of fellowship and fun. We’re already looking forward to next year’s picnic!
We also recently held our annual safety picnic. This was a much anticipated day for employees, as they were given the opportunity to all be together for a day to further their education and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.
In addition, a few of our guys recently entered the NCAEC Apprenticeship Contest. Emory Electric had two employees who participated and placed high in the contest, one of whom placed 8th overall. A big congratulations to those employees!
In other exciting news, one of our own, Kris Hensley, welcomed the newest member of his family, sweet baby girl Bellami Hensley. Congratulations to Kris and his family!
Emory is also very proud to announce the following recent project awardings:
1- UNCA Highsmith Student Union
2- Riverbend Malt House
3- Asheville High School Renovations
